*Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) restructures the way people think in the hopes of changing the way people feel. Studies have shown that CBT is an extremely effective way of treating disorders such as anxiety and depression. We live in a tough world, with tremendous pressure, and due to our desire to succeed in life, in addition to society's pressures, we tend to put more pressure on ourselves with an irrational way of thinking. As a cognitive behavioral therapist, I provide a safe environment where my clients feel comfortable sharing their most intimate aspects of their lives without judgment, where they learn to reframe their negative and disturbing cognitive thoughts and replace them wiht healthy new ways of thinking and in turn, feeling.
